John Stuelke is a lifelong resident and devoted public servant of Linn County.

From the age of 18, John has protected and served the citizens of Linn County for over 40 years as a police officer, deputy sheriff and later Chief Deputy, retiring in June 2020.

In his home town of Center Point, he has served as a City Councilman for 22 years, Mayor for 4 years, and currently serves as a Councilman and Mayor Pro Tempore. He currently volunteers for Meals on Wheels and through his church.
